| THE BELTHORN SSB IF MODULE
The circuit diagram and PCB track artwork were drawn on two old Protel DOS applications. Protel SCHEDIT and Autotrax TRAXEDIT. A freeware PCB Editor similar to Autotrax is available in the download area of the Protel website. The PCB top layer earthplane was produced by writing a Visual Basic program which operates on the Autotrax PCB file to identify PCB outline and PAD locations and draw corresponding white filled circles on a black background. Unfortunately, following an upgrade of my PC and Printer, these DOS applications no longer print. With the exception of the earthplane and track artwork the drawings given here were produced by saving the DOS drawing files in HPGL format and using a viewer to read and print the artwork through Windows. The printed output was then scanned into GIF files - not ideal but the best I can do at the moment!
