THE BELTHORN SSB IF MODULE

Here's the draft of the Belthorn SSB IF Module article published in RadCom during the Spring of 2000. The original circuit diagram and PCB layouts are provided under separate links. During the transcription of the artwork into the RadCom article several minor errors were introduced, the copies provided here are "good".

The PCB layout was produced using an ancient copy of "Autotrax". A freeware version of this is available from the Protel Website. The ground plane artwork was produced using a Visual Basic program which operated on the PCB track layout file identifying board dimensions and pad centres and drawing a black fill the same size as the board onto which white clearance holes were painted.
